Goetz von Escher studied at ETH Zurich, where he gained a degree in electrical engineering.

 

Before joining Open Systems AG, Goetz von Escher worked as a software developer for Northern Telecom in Ottawa, Canada. Prior to that he worked in the VLSI Design department at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in Heidelberg, and for Philips Semiconductor in Zurich.
